Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kabula Hill SDA Church ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information through the Voice of Prophecy mobile application (Android package name com.m2kdevelopments.kabulavop, also referred to as "Kabula VOP" or the "App") and this companion website. The App delivers a free, bilingual (English/Chichewa) 26-lesson Bible correspondence course. By registering for the course or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We only collect information that you choose to provide directly to us. The App does not access your device's camera, photos, contacts, precise/GPS location, or microphone, and it does not use any advertising or analytics tracking software.

1. Registration & Profile Information

When you register for the course, we collect the information you enter on the sign-up form:

• Full name
• Phone number
• Email address (optional)
• Age
• Gender
• Marital status and number of children
• Town/location and country
• Home address
• Education level and occupation
• Religion
• Preferred study language (English or Chichewa)

2. Course & Quiz Activity

As you use the course, we collect:

• Your answers to each lesson's quiz questions
• Your written responses to each lesson's "thought question"
• Which lessons you have completed and your overall course progress
• Your responses to the final graduation survey

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your course enrollment
• To save and sync your lesson progress and quiz answers
• To allow Kabula Hill SDA Church trainers and staff to follow up with you about the course, answer questions, or provide pastoral support
• To issue recognition of completion once you finish the course
• To generate aggregated, anonymized statistics about course participation (e.g. completion rates by region or language) for church administration purposes

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to any third party.

How We Store & Share Your Information

Your registration details, quiz answers, and completion status are sent from the App to our backend server and stored in a secure database.

A copy of your registration details and course activity is also recorded in a private Google Sheet accessible only to Kabula Hill SDA Church staff, so that trainers can follow up with students who do not have regular access to the admin dashboard. This data is stored under Google's own infrastructure and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Church staff (trainers and administrators) can view your name, contact details, and course progress through an internal analytics dashboard in order to support you through the course. We do not share your information with any other outside organization, and we do not permit any third party to use your information for their own marketing purposes.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your registration and course information for as long as needed to administer the course and maintain church records, or until you request that it be deleted. If you uninstall the App, information already synced to our servers is not automatically deleted.

Your Choices & Rights

• You may stop using the App at any time. The App's "Contact Info" screen lets you edit your profile or reset/log out, which clears the data stored locally on your device.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below.
• Providing information such as your phone number and profile details is voluntary but required in order to register for and complete the course.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
